NFL Sunday New Orleans Saints vs Green Bay Packers Start Time, Odds

Nobody envisioned a week four match up between the 1-2 Packers and the 0-3 Saints, but that is exactly what will take place this afternoon at Lambeau Field (4:25pm ET start time, FOX). The latest New Orleans Saints vs Green Bay Packers odds are forecasting a 0-4 beginning for the Saints, who are presently listed as a +9 against the spread road underdog. Green Bay is a -340 moneyline play ($340 wins $100) and the game total is set at 53.5 points.

It is difficult to say which team has more to overcome in this match up. Green Bay is coming off, perhaps, the most awkward loss in NFL history while New Orleans is trying to shake off an overtime home loss in a game it held a double digit second half lead.

Regardless, Green Bay is better equipped to rebound this afternoon, especially playing at home. New Orleans has shown no ability to slow opposing offenses and it represents, by far, the poorest defensive unit the Packers have seen this season.

Green Bay has faced a murderous defensive lineup thus far, squaring off against the Niners, Bears, and Seahawks, and its lackluster point totals (22, 23, and 12) say as much. Aaron Rodgers and his talented cohorts should bust loose today, though, against a Saints team that has allowed an average of 34 points and 477.3 yards per game.

New Orleans, even though it has not looked as potent on offense this season, will get some points today, but not nearly enough.

NFL Sunday New Orleans Saints vs Green Bay Packers Odds:

New Orleans Saints +9 (-135), Over 53.5 (-110), +285 (Moneyline)

Green Bay Packers -9 (+115), Under 53.5 (-110), -340 (Moneyline)
