NFL Sunday Denver Broncos vs New England Patriots Start Time, Odds, Free Pick

Sunday NFL and we will see the Denver Broncos take on the New England Patriots at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Massachusetts. The game has a start time of 4:25 pm (Eastern) and will be televised on CBS. Current Vegas odds have the Broncos listed as 3 point favorites, while the total is set at 54.

Analysis: The Denver Broncos are having another fine year so far, as they come in at 6-1 on the year, with that lone loss coming on the road at Seattle. This is only Denver's 3rd road game of the year. The Broncos are 4-1 ATS vs. a team with a winning record and 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games in November, but are also 9-20 ATS in their last 29 road games vs. a team with a winning home record and just 1-4 ATS the last 5 meeting in this series. Once again Denver has an elite offense, that ranks 6th in total yards, 3rd in passing, 21st in rushing and 1st in scoring (32 ppg). The defense has also been good for this team, as they come in ranked 4th in yards allowed, 17th vs the pass, 1st vs the run and 6th in points allowed (20.3 ppg).

The New England Patriots are once again atop the AFC Standings, coming in with a 6-2 record that includes a perfect 4-0 mark at home. Last week the Pats had an offensive explosion, putting up 51 points on the Bears for their 4th win a row. The Patriots are are 14-3 ATS in their last 17 games after allowing more than 150 yards rushing in their previous game, but also just 3-9 ATS in their last 12 games after scoring more than 30 points in their previous game. The Pats offense has been on fire of late and for the year they rank 10th in total offense, 10th in passing, 17th in rushing and 3rd in scoring (29.8 ppg). The defense has been rather average, ranking 12th in yards allowed, 2nd vs the pass, 25th vs the run and 14th in points allowed (22.1 ppg).

Pick: Going to look at the Over in this game. i know that bad weather is expected, but that will not affect Brady and Manning has now had two year to work on bad weather games and he should have a nice one in this one. Let's also go back to last year when Manning had a huge lead at the half in this game and New England came back to win. I can see Manning trying to score all the way till two minutes are left in the game. If they get a big lead he will not hesitate to continue to try and run up the score. The Bronco run defense is one of the best in the league, but they are vulnerable vs the pass, ranking 17th. The Pats are 2nd in the league vs the pass, but they have faced just one real good passing team (The Bears) and they did allow 231 yards in that game. New England is 25th vs the run and once the broncos establish that with Hillman, you can then expect big plays over the top. This one could see 60 points put on the board, even in rough weather.
