NFC West rivals Arizona and Seattle will butt heads for a second and final time this season when they take to CenturyLink Field later today (4:25pm ET start time, FOX). The total in this afternoon’s rivalry tilt is set at 35.5 points.
This match up may not be for the birds, but it is close given the Cardinals play. Arizona, which somehow won its first four games, has lost eight straight games, effectively extinguishing whatever hope its unexpected start may have generated.
The Cardinals, who have featured a carousel at quarterback due to injury and poor play, are the worst offensive team in the league, which is saying something considering it shares membership with the likes of the Chiefs, Jets, and Jaguars.
For that reason alone, it seems completely implausible that Arizona finds a way to stay in this game. Seattle is not an offensive powerhouse, but Russell Wilson and company, which at 7-5 presently hold the final NFC playoff spot, are good enough.
The Seahawks do field one of the league’s best defenses, though, which makes it extremely unlikely that Arizona has anything more than a 10 next to its name when time expires in this divisional clash.
