NFL Season Win Total: New England Patriots

http://cdn.bleacherreport.net/images_root/slides/photos/003/186/075/hi-res-159795839_crop_650x440.jpg?1369763976

The NFL Season Win Totals have been released by the Las Vegas Hotel (formerly Hilton), and the New England Patriots have been tabbed with 11 wins this year for an over/under. Assuming the team gets to the 11 wins, they would be the AFC East winner as the team having the most wins in the division. The LVH has released season win totals for each of the NFL franchises and the 11 for the Patriots is the second highest of any NFL team.

Last season the New England Patriots finished the regular season with a 12-4 record despite dropping two of their first three games. The Patriots have been the heel of the NFL for 10 years now as Bill Belichick's team is often considered the "most hated" of any of the NFL squads. New England has been the example of winning consistently in the NFL and along with Belichick the main staple during all these years has been quarterback Tom Brady, who threw for better than 4,800 yards last season and 34 touchdowns.

But one move the Patriots will have to get over is Wes Welker bolting town to play in Denver. He caught better than 1,300 yards last season and was Brady's best target out at wide receiver. Sure, the Patriots have been known to utilize their tight ends more the past few seasons but what will the status of Rob Gronkowski be? He's gone through multiple surgeries and the rumors around the team say he needs even more work to get done under the knife. Then again, the Patriots seem to go through this every year, Belichick always gets the best out of his players and as long as Brady can get the football to someone, they'll win games.

In looking at their schedule this season, they have back to back tough road games against Atlanta and Cincinnati early on. They also finish with three of their last five games away from Foxboro going to Houston, Miami and Baltimore. The Ravens were able to beat New England in the AFC Championship game last season and went on to win the Super Bowl. New England's other tough games are all at home — Tampa Bay, New Orleans, Pittsburgh and Denver all come to New England to play this season.
