The Kansas City Chiefs 2012 season was an unmitigated disaster in almost every regard. The team finished with a league worst 2-14 record and it ranked 32nd and 25th in points per game (13.2) and points per game allowed (26.6) respectively. Not surprisingly, those putrid results led to a wholesale house cleaning as owner Clark Hunt fired Head Coach Romeo Crennel and General Manager Scott Pioli and hired in their place Andy Reid and John Dorsey (previously with the Packers).
