The NFL Preseason kicks off tonight with a dozen games around the league. The San Francisco 49ers are hosting the Dallas Cowboys in one of those games, which has a 10:00 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on the NFL Network. It sounds like the 49ers starters are each going to get a series here tonight. Outside of that, don't expect them to be playing too much, though they could get in a handful of additional snaps depending on how the first series go. Many people are excited about what San Francisco can do this season, especially now that quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo has had a full offseason and training camp with coach Kyle Shanahan.

Dallas comes into the game moving along from Dez Bryant. The Cowboys still feel like they have an offense that is going to be able to move the football and score points, though, as Cole Beasley slides in to be the top overall guy. Like in most of these games early on, don't expect the starters to play too much.
