NFL Odds Philadelphia Eagles at Chicago Bears

The Chicago Bears are hosting the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football. The game is scheduled for an 8:30 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on ESPN. The NFL Odds for the game have the Bears favored to pick up the victory at home.

NFL Odds
Chicago -3
Total: 42.5 points

The Bears have to find a way to get things turned around after a terrible second half in Houston last weekend. Chicago looked excellent in the first half with Jay Cutler leading the way, then it all came apart and the Bears came home with a loss.

Philadelphia is one game into the Carson Wentz era, he looked very strong in the season opener but it was against the Browns. Wentz tossed for 278 and two touchdowns in the win, tonight the Bears will look to pressure him up front and make bad decisions as this is his first road game as the starter.

Chicago forced only 14 turnovers last season, but the defense is improved, especially up front, and Wentz could be forced into quicker decisions.

Alshon Jeffery could have a big game on the outside, plus Jeremy Langford can be a bruiser in between the tackles. Philly has some strong assets as well with Ryan Mathews out of the backfield and Jordan Matthews at receiver.

The Eagle defense could make the difference here tonight. They gave up just 10 points to Cleveland, which allowed the Eagles offense to get the ball back and control the time of possession.
