Dallas -6.5

Dallas has been the surprise of the NFL this season, racing out to a 9-1 record this season and the top overall spot in the NFC. The Cowboys are led by youngsters in QB Dak Prescott and running back Ezekiel Elliot, both of which should be in the MVP consideration despite being in only their first year in the league. Having that offensive line certainly helps makes both of their jobs a bit easier, but each has done a solid job for the Cowboys with the ball in their hands.
The Cowboys have been very good at home this season, winning four of their five games. The only loss came in the first game of the season in a 20-19 defeat to the Giants and Dallas hasn’t lost since that game, so confidence is riding high.
Washington is coming off a huge win over Green Bay on Sunday night, Kirk Cousins has looked very strong at quarterback. The Redskins have won two straight overall but still trail both Dallas and New York in the NFC East. Having DeSean Jackson back should help the offense, in Sunday’s game he had six targets and caught a touchdown.
Cousins is going to throw it a ton in this game, the passing game has been effective for Washington all season and it looks like that’s the way to potentially beat Dallas. The Cowboys are middle of the road against the pass this season, but they’re routinely ahead so teams are looking to catch up.
Expect both teams to score here.
