The Philadelphia Eagles are playing host to the Pittsburgh Steelers in NFL Football action on Sunday. The game is scheduled for a 4:25 p.m. start time and it will be televised live on CBS. The NFL Odds for the game have the Steelers favored to pick up the win on the road.
NFL Odds
Steelers -3.5
Total: 46 points
The legend of Carson Wentz continues to grow, but the Steelers will easily be the toughest opponent for the Eagles to date. Philly beat both Cleveland and Chicago while Pittsburgh comes in with wins over Washington and Cincinnati, clearly better opponents comparatively.
Wentz has surely shown signs of being a great quarterback, but Pittsburgh could turn up the pressure on him. The Steelers haven’t blitzed a lot this season and Wentz has made teams pay in those situations, completing 80 percent of his passes in those spots to lead the NFL.
Ben Roethlisberger and the Steeler offense has put up some numbers. Philly is expected to be banged up in the secondary again, which means Big Ben and Antonio Brown could have big games. Pittsburgh has been good in the ground game to date, but Big Ben and the receivers could be in for a big game with Philly’s lack of depth in spots.
Wentz and the Eagles have looked great to this point, but Pittsburgh and the high-paced Steelers are too much.
