NFL Football Dallas Cowboys at San Francisco 49ers Start Time, NFL Odds, Free Pick

The San Francisco 49ers are hosting the Dallas Cowboys this afternoon in NFL Football action. The game is scheduled for a 4:25 p.m. start time and it will be televised live on FOX. The NFL Odds for the game have the Cowboys favored by a slim margin to pick up the victory on the road.

NFL Odds
Dallas -1
Total: 44.5 points

San Francisco is 1-2 on the season and most of the year has been marred by the distractions of Colin Kaepernick. Chip Kelly and the 49ers want to keep the focus on the football field, but with two straight losses on the road at Carolina and Seattle, it looks like it has been tough. Those are the two best teams in the NFC, so it's tough to tell if San Francisco has been able to improve of not. Their only win on the year was the season-opener against the LA Rams, where the 49ers actually looked solid on both sides of the football.

Dallas has been impressive to date, the rookies Ezekiel Elliot and Dak Prescott have proven to be strong assets to a Cowboys team that could have gone south with Tony Romo going down. San Francisco gave up less than 17 points per game in their home games last season and the life of Levi Stadium has seen nearly every game stay under the posted total, a 20-3 trend for the under. But Dallas is looking to move that football consistently behind a big offensive line Elliot had 140 yards last week against a poor Bears team.

As long as Blaine Gabbert is the starting QB for San Francisco, it will be tough to back them. Dallas has been solid even with rookies at key positions and that run game will help them get a road win here today.
