The Carolina Panthers look to continue their perfect season when they take on the Atlanta Falcons in NFL Football action on Sunday. The game is scheduled for a 1:00 p.m. start time and it will be televised live on FOX. Currently the NFL Odds for the game have the Panthers favored to pick up the win and remain unbeaten.

The Panthers have been the best team in football all season, racing out to a 14-0 record. There’s been a lot of talk about whether or not they should be resting their starters in the final few weeks of the season, but Ron Rivera and the boys seem focused on running the table.

Atlanta and Tampa Bay are the only two tests left for the perfect campaign. This Atlanta game on the road could be tricky despite the Falcons struggles the past few months. Atlanta opened the season with a 6-1 record, but they dropped six straight before picking up a road win at Jacksonville last week.

Just two weeks ago Carolina took Atlanta behind the woodshed, 38-0. The Falcons did nothing right in that one and just got clubbed repeatedly. The Falcons have to find a way to circle the wagons and get something going early in this one.

Matt Ryan has always been solid at home, this year the Falcons are just 3-3 in their own building, but they have to treat this for what it is — the biggest game of the year. They should have a chip on their shoulders for the beating they took two weeks ago.

Cam Newton has been hot all year, he looks to be the MVP. Newton has tossed 18 of his 33 scores on the year the last month, the Panthers have been pressed a couple of times but have always come out on top.

Atlanta, though, needs to treat this like the Super Bowl. Julio Jones, Devonta Freeman and the Falcons will have a big game.
