College basketball on Saturday night and we will see the Fresno State Bulldogs travel to The Thomas & Mack Center to take on the UNLV Runnin Rebels. The game has a start time of 10:00 pm (Eastern) and will be televised on CBSSN. Vegas odds have the Runnin Rebels listed as 10 point favorites, while the total sits at 140. 

Analysis: The Rebels were expected be one of the teams in the hunt for the conference title, but coming into this game they stand at just 12-7 overall and 3-3 in the MWC. The Rebels had a nice showing in their last game, beating Utah State by a 62-42 count. The Rebels are averaging a modest 73.8 ppg on 43.8% shooting for the year. Dejean-Jones leads the program in scoring and assists through 19 games with his 14.7 ppg and 56 assists, Roscoe Smith continues to be one of the top rebounders in the entire country (12.5 rpg) and is one of only a handful of players who can lay claim to averaging a double-double with his 12.1 ppg. Kehn Birch rounds out the double digit scorers for this team at 10.9 ppg. 

The Bulldogs come in on a 4 games slide and have won just 2 of their last 10 games overall. The Bulldogs have averaged 74.4 ppg overall, but in conference play they have scored just 70.4 ppg on 38.3% shooting, while on defense they have allowed  79.3 ppg in conference play. Tyler Johnson leads the attack with 19.0 ppg and 7.4 rpg in conference, while Marvelle Harris (14.6 ppg) and Cezar Guerrero (13.7 ppg) also carry much of the burden on offense. An odd quirk fir the Bulldogs this year is the fact tat they have scored 1485 points this year, while allowing 1484 points. The Bulldogs are 8-20 in this series. 

Pick: I will go with the Under in this one. The Rebels don't score a whole lot at home and they can't hit their FT's here as well. Fresno State has struggled to score in the MWC and I see that continuing in this one vs a UNLV team that is playing better defense.  135 or less in this one.
