The pivotal game of the opening series of the NBA Playoffs takes place tonight in Game 2 between the Milwaukee Bucks and the Miami Heat. The game is scheduled for a 7:30 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on NBA.tv. Currently the odds for the game have the Heat as a big favorite of 14 points.

The Heat are the overwhelming favorite to win the NBA Championship this season and they proved in the opening game of this series they aren't messing around. The Bucks were clubbed by 23 points and most of the Heat's starters didn't play solid minutes in the fourth quarter.

LeBron James was an absolute monster in the first game. He was the top point scorer with 27, had the most rebounds with 10 and had the most assists in the game with 8. That's the eighth time in his playoff career he's been able to lead all three statistical categories in a single game. According to the ELIAS Sports Bureau, James has been able to accomplish that feat better than the next three players combined.

They say a series doesn't really start until a road team picks up a win. It's hard to see the Bucks winning this game tonight no matter how much trash talk Brandon Jennings can bring to the table. Sure, both he and Monta Ellis had pretty solid games with 48 combined points, but as you can see by the final score that's not going to get it done. They were the only two players in double figures for the Bucks.

Dwyane Wade had only 16 points in the opener but was instrumental on the defensive end of the floor for the Heat. If Miami can continue to win games where both of their big stars don't have to have huge games they're going to win the title again. Miami has gone 43-4 in their last 47 games overall and they clearly look like the best team in basketball.

The Bucks got smashed on the glass and to make things worse, the Heat had seven more turnovers than Milwaukee did. They can't point to cutting down on miscues because it's not like they played a horrendous game. But they are going to have to shoot the ball better. The Bucks connected on just 41.5 percent of their shots compared to better than 55 percent by the Heat.

Let's face it, Milwaukee isn't going to win this game tonight. They're a two touchdown underdog for a reason and we think they Heat put it on them again in this series.
