The NBA Playoffs continue tonight when the Dallas Mavericks take on the Oklahoma City Thunder. The game is scheduled for am 8:00 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on TNT. The betting odds for the game have the Thunder favored to pick up the win.
Line: Thunder -13.5
Total: 200
Oklahoma City absolutely dominated the Mavericks in the opening game of this series, plowing through Dallas en route to a 108-70 win. Dallas never had a quarter of more than 22 points in the game, plus an 11-point opening stanza certainly helped to the demise.
Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant combined for 47 points in the game, Westbrook handed out 11 assists as well as the Mavericks had no answer for either in the game.
Dirk Nowitzki was the only Maverick to finish in double figures and the starters were absolutely blown off the floor. Each finished with a negative plus/minus slash line for the game, including Wesley Matthews’ -40, meaning when he was on the floor the Thunder outscored Dallas by 40 points.
The Thunder were very strong at home this season going 32-9. Dallas was an average road team and there’s really nothing they can draw from in Game 1. Oklahoma City will be looking for another strong win here tonight.
