Marshall's 2013 schedule is by no means a patsy, but it hardly qualifies as difficult either. Non-conference road meetings with Ohio and Virginia Tech represent major challenges, but the Herd's conference road slate is more than manageable. Outside of a November trip to Tulsa, Marshall has what appears to be smooth away sailing with Florida Atlantic, Middle Tennessee, and FIU being its other road stops.
Marshall's home schedule looks much the same with a November 29th showdown against East Carolina being the biggest test for the offensive oriented Herd (averaged 40.9 points per game last season).
