Major League Baseball Milwaukee Brewers at Detroit Tigers Start Time, Betting Odds, Free Pick

The Detroit Tigers welcome in the Milwaukee Brewers tonight in Major League Baseball action. The game is scheduled for a 7:08 p.m. start time and it will be televised live on MLB.tv and in both markets. Currently the betting odds for the game have the Tigers favored at home to pick up the victory.

Milwaukee has fired their manager already this season, struggled mightily through the first 40 games of the season but tonight they have a chance to sweep one of the best teams in baseball. Funny how things work out, but that's one of the reasons they play 162 games a season. Milwaukee is now 15-25 on the year after picking up 3-2 and 8-1 wins inside Comerica Park.

Tonight the Tigers look to avoid the sweep at home with Shane Greene on the mound. He's been a very nice pickup for the Tigers this season, posting a record of 4-2 with a bit-high 4.21 ERA, but Detroit has won five of his eight starts overall this season. Only Adam Lind has faced Greene in his career with a single in three at bats. Greene, not a real big strikeout guy, will have to keep the Brewers in the yard tonight. Anibal Sanchez wasn't able to do that last night, which gave Milwaukee a distinct advantage in the game.

Kyle Lohse gets the ball tonight for Milwaukee. He's 3-4 with an ERA of 5.85 in eight starts. The crafty veteran also isn't a strikeout guy either, but he has punched out 15 hitters the last two games, wins over the Chicago Cubs and New York Mets. Lohse has pitched the Brew Crew to three straight victories overall.

Current Tigers own a .306 average against Loshe in 62 at bats. Victor Martinez has faced him the most with 25 plate appearances, but he just went on the disabled list yesterday. Miguel Cabrera and Yoenis Cespedes have both homered twice against Lohse, Ian Kinsler has homered as well.

Detroit will be a tough team to sweep. The Tigers are usually a good team at their own yard and Lohse will have to throw a very strong game for Detroit to lose again.

Movie NFL Free Pick: Green Bay Packers at Chicago Bears

According to professional sports bettor Steve Fezzik, the early bird can catch a profitable worm if they put money down on Green Bay's opening week showing against the Chicago Bears. With the line currently at -4.5 at most Vegas sports books, Fezzik predicts it will move to -6.5 come game day, as no one is going to be betting on the Jay Cutler-helmed Bears, so the money will pour in on Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers. With that being the case, time strike early while the iron is hot.
