The Baltimore Orioles welcome in the Cleveland Indians again this afternoon in Major League Baseball action. The game is scheduled for a 7:15 p.m. start time and it will be televised live on FOX. Currently the odds for the game have the Orioles favored to pick up the win in this one at home.
Baltimore and Cleveland take to the field tonight in one of FOXs Major League Baseball Games of the Week. These games, which this week also include Seattle/Los Angeles and Chicago/St. Louis, are certainly a nice sight for baseball fans on a Saturday night.
The Orioles will be sending Chris Tillman to the mound. He's 5-7 on the year and has an ERA of 6.22 for the third-place Orioles. Tillman will look to keep the winning going as he's won three of his last four starts overall, earning a no decision in the other game. All four of those starts have come in June, where Tillman pitched the Orioles to wins over Cleveland, Boston and Philadelphia.
His last start, at Toronto, saw Tillman give up six earned runs on six hits in just 1 1/3 innings of work. That was obviously a terrible start, Tillman must put it past him heading into this game tonight. Current Indians have a .232 average against him in 112 plate appearances. Nick Swisher and Jason Kipnis have each homered.
Cleveland sends youngster Cody Anderson to the mound. He threw 7 2/3 innings against Tampa Bay last week, scattering six hits with no runs while striking out four. With Anderson and Tillman both making starts against solid offenses, there should be some runs scored.
