The Major League Baseball season continue this evening with a game taking place between the New York Yankees and the Chicago White Sox. The game is scheduled for a 7:05 p.m. start time and it will be televised live on MLB.tv this evening. Currently the MLB Odds for the game have the Yankees listed as a massive favorite to pick up the win in this one at home.

The Yankees are a massive price tag tonight at home to beat the White Sox. It should come as no surprise as New York is one of the better home teams in the American League so far this season, sitting at 13-6 so far at Yankee Stadium. The White Sox are also awful on the road, winning just four times in 20 games away from their home field this season.
Nestor Cortes (1-4, 4.02) has not been great for the Yankees yet this season. One of the reasons I am backing him and the Yanks on the runline tonight are his home splits, however. Cortes had started four games at home, tossed better than 28 innings and yielded just five earned runs in that time. He's 1-1 with a 1.59 ERA and fanned nearly a batter per inning at home so far.
The White Sox have won a handful of games lately, but they still are dreadful offensively. They're also sending Mike Clevinger (0-1, 5.40) to the mound. I think the Yankees will get the best of him tonight and I expect a strong showing from Cortes.
