Major League Baseball All Star Game Odds, Start Time

The 2013 MLB All-Star Game takes place tonight from Citi Field in Queens, New York City. The game is scheduled for an 8:00 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on FOX. Currently the odds for the game have the National League as a small favorite to win.

Jim Leyland of the Detroit Tigers and Bruce Bochy of the San Francisco Giants will be managing their respective leagues tonight in the All-Star Game. The managers are picked from the teams who reach the World Series in their respective leagues the previous season. Of course, the Giants swept the Tigers and claimed baseball's biggest prize.

The starters for the All-Star Game are voted on annually by the fans while the starting pitchers are picked by their managers. Max Scherzer, who is having a Cy-Young start to the season, will get the ball for the American League. Matt Harvey, who has been one of the biggest stories in baseball with his amazing pitching style and ability to strike out tons of opposing hitters, gets the ball to start the game for the National League. He's also the best pitcher for the New York Mets, whose home stadium is Citi Field, where the game is being played.

Odds for the game have the National League favored. The current odds for the game are:

American League    +125     +1.5 (-180)        Over 8 (-110)
