Week 15 of the college football season officially kicks off tonight with an AAC battle between the Louisville Cardinals and Cincinnati Bearcats. Start time in this evening's game is set for 7:30pm ET at Nippert Stadium in Cincinnati; the game will be broadcast live on ESPN. Thursday College Football Odds have the visiting Cardinals listed as a -3 against the spread road favorite and the Over/Under set at 50.5 points.

Both Louisville and Cincinnati enter tonight's game seeking a co-share of the AAC title, but they each need a win as well as a Central Florida loss to SMU on Saturday for that to come to fruition.

After the Bearcats 3-2 start to the season, which featured a 20-26 loss at South Florida, it appeared they had no chance at all of sniffing a conference championship. Cincinnati has been a different team since their unexpected setback against the Bulls, though.

The Bearcats ride a six game winning streak into this evening's contest, having scored home wins over Temple, Connecticut, and SMU while knocking off Memphis, Rutgers, and Houston on the road.

Louisville was a huge favorite to win the AAC coming into the season, but UCF foiled both the Cardinals and prognostications with a 38-35 win at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium on October 18th.

To their credit, Charlie Strong's Cardinals did not let the dream crushing loss linger. Louisville bounced back from the defeat by securing road wins over South Florida and Connecticut and home victories against Houston and Memphis.

This should be an interesting battle considering Louisville is undefeated on the road and Cincinnati has yet to drop a home game; however, history is on the side of the Bearcats. The Cardinals scored a 34-31 victory when these two teams met in Louisville last year, but Cincinnati had won four straight in the series prior to that loss.

Notable Trends: Louisville is 1-7 against the spread in its last eight games as a road favorite with a total between 47.5 and 51 points. Cincinnati is 4-1 both straight up and against the spread in its last five games as an underdog with a spread between 0 and 3.5 points.
