Los Angeles Clippers vs Dallas Mavericks NBA Odds, Start Time

The Los Angeles Clippers are in the Lone Star State tonight for a Western Conference dust up with Dallas Mavericks at the American Airlines Center. This evening’s showdown between the Clipper and Mavericks has a scheduled start time of 9:30pm ET on TNT. The latest Tuesday NBA Odds have tonight’s game listed as an against the spread pick’em; the game total is set at 202 points.

Dallas is drawing ever closer to a postseason berth, but, unfortunately for the Mavericks, they are competing with a number of other clubs for final Western Conference playoff spot.

Dallas, at 34-36, is 1.5 games back of the eighth place Lakers and a half game behind the Utah Jazz. Directly behind the Mavs with a 33-37 record are the Portland Trail Blazers. Dirk Nowitzki and company are playing the best basketball of those four teams, though.

The Mavericks have won seven of their last 10 games and they enter tonight’s game off back to back home wins over the Celtics and Jazz.

The Clippers, who have won three in a row and four of their last five games against Dallas, could put a sudden halt to the Mavs recent momentum. Los Angeles, which opens a four game road set tonight, is 3-1 in its last four games, recording home wins over the Knicks, Sixers, and Nets.

Nonetheless, the Clippers, a 20-14 road team, have dropped their last two away games, falling at Denver (107-92) and Sacramento (116-101).

Notable Trends: Los Angeles is 6-1 both straight up and against the spread in its last seven road games with a total between 200 and 205 points.
