The Kansas Jayhawks will play the Oregon Ducks tonight in the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament. The game is scheduled for an 8:49 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on TBS. The college basketball odds for the game have the Jayhawks favored to pick up the win in this one.
College Basketball Odds
Kansas -7
Total: 156 points
Oregon won the first NCAA Tournament back in 1939. Since then they haven’t made a Final Four, but that can change with a victory here tonight. The Ducks are playing without Chris Boucher, but they still have an athletic group that can score points and play well enough on the defensive end to remain in games.
Kansas looks like the best team in the country through three games in the tournament. The Jayhawks have torched all three opponents this tournament, beating UC Davis, Michigan State and Purdue by an average of 30 points per game. Frank Mason III and the gang have no problem playing at whatever pace Oregon brings to the floor in this one.
This should be a phenomenal matchup between a pair of teams with stars. Dillon Brooks is going to have to really play well for the Ducks to win here. He had just 12 points in the team’s win over Michigan, but Tyler Dorsey was able to lead the Ducks once again.
The Dorsey / Mason matchup is going to be awesome. Josh Jackson of Kansas could be the difference.
