Green Bay pieced together a nearly flawless regular season in 2011, going 15-1 with its only loss coming at Kansas City in week 15. Green Bay featured the league’s worst defense last season, at least in terms of yards per game allowed; however, the team’s inability to stop opponents from moving up and down the field mattered little. The Packers made up for their defensive woes by averaging 405 yards and 35 points per game.
Green Bay lost two offensive starters in the off-season, but no one is anticipating a drop-off in the Packers scoring prowess, particularly Vegas based odds maker Cantor Gaming. Cantor, which released point spreads for the entire 2012 NFL regular season schedule save week 17, has Green Bay favored in each of its first 15 games.
