The FIFA Women's World Cup continues today with England set to take on the Mexico in the second scheduled game of the day. The match is scheduled for a 4:00 p.m. start time and it will be televised live on FOX. Currently the odds for the match have England as the listed favorite to pick up the win.

Mexico vs. England Odds

England came into the World Cup ranked sixth in the world, but an opening match loss to France dampened spirits a bit. That was a close match, but the English played from behind the final 60-plus minutes and couldn't find the equalizer. Today the English will play a Mexico team that played to a draw with Colombia in their first match.

In Mexico's original game, they scored in the opening half on a tally from Veronica Perez in the 36th minute. The game was nearly gone but Colombia was able to sneak one in during the 82nd minute as Daniela Montoa equalized the match and gave what would equate to a single point for both teams in group play.

Today England needs to get on top early and not allow Mexico the confidence from hanging around. If Mexico stays in the game longer it will continue to give them a chance, but England doesn't really have a lot of wiggle room if they want to advance to the knockouts.
