The Hawaii Rainbow Warriors are on the road in college football action on Saturday, taking on the Army Black Knights. The game is scheduled for a 12:00 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on the CBS Sports Network. Hawaii is the only 3-0 team in college football, but to get to 4-0 it’s going to take a lot of work here against Army. For starters, the Rainbow Warriors are playing in a noon Eastern time kickoff, that equates to a 6 a.m. kickoff in Honolulu and Hawaii has to find a way to get acclimated to the time change.

This game will feature some contrasting offensive styles as well. Hawaii loves to throw the football and Army, of course, loves to keep the ball on the ground. Hawaii QB Cole McDonald has already thrown for 13 touchdowns and no interceptions on the season, he’s pitched it for nearly 1,200 yards through the air as well and his favorite targets are Cedric Byrd (27 catches) and John Ursua (26 catches) as they have hauled in 10 touchdowns already.

Army is averaging better than five yards per carry as a team and 308.5 on the ground per game. Hawaii has to find a way to slow them down as the Rainbow Warriors have allowed more than 196 yards on the ground per game to opponents. On the other side, Army allows better than 250 through the air per game, but neither Duke or Liberty has the offensive firepower that Hawaii does.

Sure, the time for this game is awful for Hawaii, but they will be ready.
