College Football Odds
Colorado -3
Total: 62.5 points
This is one of the better matchups outside of the college football playoff this season. Both Oklahoma State and Colorado had pretty solid seasons to date, capping it off with a bowl game win would certainly allow either to finish the season ranked inside the Top 10.
Oklahoma State won seven consecutive games before losing the game in Bedlam to rival Oklahoma this season, scoring a ton of points along the way. Mike Gundy's group scored at least 31 points in each of those wins as Mason Rudolph threw for 25 touchdowns and just four picks. Freshman Justice Hill has provided some nice stability coming out of the backfield, running for over 1,000 yards and five touchdowns.
Colorado might be the best story in college football, the Buffaloes won 10 games and qualified for a bowl game for the first time since 2007. They haven't won a bowl game since 2004, which should give Mike MacIntyre and the Buffaloes all the motivation they need to come out of this with a win.
Sefo Liufau has battled some injuries this season, but when he plays the Buffaloes are tough to beat. Coming out of the backfield, Phillip Lindsay provides the Buffs with a solid option that averages better than five yards per carry with 16 touchdowns. Both of them at full strength coming out of the backfield could cause problems for the Cowboys in this one,
Oklahoma State has been in this situation before, which could play a role in the contest. Colorado is going to prepare to play well and come home with a win, but the Pokes understand the ins and outs of being in a bowl game under Gundy, who has been pretty consistent for Oklahoma State.
