The No. 5
Michigan State Spartans are on the road to open the
2015 college football season against the
Western Michigan Broncos. The game is scheduled for a 7:00 p.m.
start time and it will be televised nationally on ESPNu. Currently the
betting odds for the game have
Michigan State listed as a three-score favorite to pick up the win.
Michigan State has national championship aspirations this year. They begin the season ranked fifth in the country, but have a tough task against Western Michigan tonight. The Broncos are treating like as the biggest game in school history and head coach P.J. Fleck has his team believing they can row the boat to a victory.
The Spartans have won back-to-back bigtime bowl games and under Mark Dantonio believe they're one of the best programs in the country. Recent history has shown this program is certainly a solid one, but it's a bit early to crown them as one of the best programs in college football. Either way, quarterback Connor Cook is looking to guide this team to another double digit win season. Cook came back to Michigan State last year, skipping the NFL Draft for one more go at a national title.
Western Michigan's Waldo Stadium can be loud, but it's nothing the Spartans haven't experienced before. Michigan State's defense is supposed to be good again, but losing Pat Narduzzi will certainly have some say on how the Spartans will be defensively. Stopping Jarvion Franklin will be their top priority tonight. He's a big back that amassed 1,500 yards last season and is looking to have a big impact tonight.
Michigan State believes it's a title contender. Western Michigan is a fast rising team looking for a signature school win. This one won't be easy for the Spartans tonight.

Oakland Raiders: 2015 NFL Free Picks & Betting Odds
Vegas betting expert Steve Fezzik doesn’t expect the bad situation in Oakland to get much better this season. This AFC West team may have some improvements in terms of personnel, but Jack Del Rio is the latest in a carousel of ever-changing mediocre coaches, and Fezzik doesn’t expect he is the guy to turn this team around. He also thinks people are overstating Derek Carr’s abilities at quarterback, as he may do well in the fourth quarter, but his numbers are padded with garbage time performance.
