Georgia Tech -3
Total: 43.5 points
Georgia Tech and Boston College open up Saturday’s college football slate live from across the pond. This should be a great way to wake up to a full slate of impressive college football games and an interesting one featuring a couple of ACC clubs.
Both of these schools are coming off rough seasons. Boston College was just 3-9 under Steve Addazio last year, Georgia Tech was also 3-9 under Paul Johnson, though they did pick up a win over Florida State and dropped six games by a possession or less.
Maybe playing in Ireland will change the luck of one of these teams. The Yellow Jackets bring back six starters on offense, including QB Justin Thomas. Their run-option offensive attack is obviously hard to prepare for but having an entire off-season to get ready might help Boston College.
What won’t help them is defensive coordinator Don Brown leaving for Michigan. Last year the Golden Eagles gave up just 15.3 points per game, it was the offense that helped them stumble to 3-9.
