This game was moved to Sunday because of Hurricane Matthew, which caused a ton of damage on the eastern seaboard the past few days. This was the only time the game could be played and even though it is going up against a full slate of NFL action, it’s still an important game to be played.
Neither teams are in the hunt for an SEC title this season, but we could still have a solid game on our hands here.
Jacob Eason is getting better for Georgia as a true freshman, last week against Tennessee he threw a couple of touchdown passes and nearly led the Bulldogs to a win over the Vols. Georgia has to find a way to get Eason some easy looks early to get Eason in a groove and feeling good.
South Carolina is not very good, losing to Mississippi State, Kentucky and Texas A&M to date. Taking on Georgia this week will be similar to that of playing the Aggies last week for the Gamecocks — a team that is bigger, faster, stronger and looking to beat up on them.
Georgia is just better on both sides of the football.
