College Football Betting Odds Cincinnati Bearcats vs Miami Hurricanes Free Pick

Saturday college football and we will see the Cincinnati Bearcats take on the Miami Hurricanes at Sun Life Stadium in Miami, Florida. The game has a start time of 12:00 pm (Eastern) and will be televised on ABC. Current Vegas odds have the Hurricanes listed as 16 point favorites, while the total is set at 57.

Analysis: The Cincinnati Bearcats come in at 2-2 on the year and are off a humiliating 41-14 home loss to the Memphis Tigers. That loss was on the heels of losing by 22 points at Ohio State the week before. The Bearcats are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 meetings with the Hurricanes, but they are also5-0 ATS as dogs of 3 or more after allowing 35 points or more. QB Gunner Kiel has been with a few teams in his carrer, but has found a home in Cincinnati and has done vs well. So far he has passed for 1257 yards with 15 TDs and just 3 INTs. The offense has not really been a problem for this team, as they come in ranked 56th overall, 13th in passing 113th in rushing and 57th in scoring (32.8 ppg). The defense is an issue though, as they come in ranked 127th in yards allowed, 121st vs the pass, 123rd vs the run and 114th in points allowed (37.2 ppg).

The Miami Hurricanes come in at 3-3 on the year, having won all 3 games at home, while losing all three games on the road. The Canes have gone 1-8 ATS in their last 9 games off a loss vs an opponent off a DD SU loss, but they are also 3-0 ATS in their last 3 home games vs the Bearcats. Leading the Canes offense is Brad Kayaa, who has thrown for 1520 yards and 13 TDs, but has also made too many mistakes with 9 INTs. Duke Johnson has been solid out of the backfield with 625 yards rushing and 5 TDs. The Canes offense has been below average this year, ranking 84 th overall, 50th in passing, 99th in rushing and 81st in scoring (27.5 ppg). The defense for the Canes has been solid, ranking 16th in yards allowed, 6th vs the pass, 72nd vs the run and 52nd in points allowed (22.8 ppg).

Pick: Going with the Over in this one. This Cincinnati defense has been horrible this year, allowing 561.8 ypg and 37.2 ppg. They are 121st in the nation in pass defense, while Miami is 50th in pass offense, which should allow the Canes some big plays downfield. Offensively the Bearcats have been excellent this year, ranking 13th in the nation in passing and yes they will be facing the 6th ranked pass defense of the Canes, but Miami has yet to face a true passing offense, so those numbers may be a bit skewed. I do not think they will stop Gunner Kiel and the Bearcats here, while this Miami offense should have its way vs one of the worst defenses in the nation. This one should be fun.
