College Football Betting Odds Auburn Tigers vs Ole Miss Rebels

Boise State vs. Ole Miss: Live Score and Highlights

The big matchup in the SEC on Saturday night takes place between the Auburn Tigers and the Ole Miss Rebels. The game between the Top 10 teams is scheduled for a 7:00 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on ESPN. Currently the College Football Betting Odds for the game have the Rebels favored by a slim margin in this one.

The biggest game of the day in college football action will see an SEC West battle between the Ole Miss Rebels and Auburn Tigers. Both teams found a way to get into the first four rankings in the college football playoffs and obviously one will get knocked out after this contest.

Auburn has just one loss on the season, to Mississippi State a few weeks ago. That game certainly went the Bulldogs' way with a 15-point win that saw both teams turn the football over four times. Mississippi State held the ball for nearly 40 minutes in the game, making Auburn's 441 yards a little bit impressive even in defeat.

The Tigers are still hovering around the top rankings in the land and they have a lot of potential moving forward. There are some very tough games moving forward for Auburn, but this one, on the road, at Ole Miss is going to start the tough campaign.

Ole Miss is coming off a loss last week down in the bayou at LSU. It was the first loss of the season for the Rebels, and they only allowed 10 points to the Tigers of LSU in that one. But only scoring seven points, after having scored no less than 23 points in any game this season, just didn't get it done.

Bo Wallace will have to play well against this Tigers defense that is tough. Auburn gives up only 21 points per game, but did surrender 35 points to South Carolina last week. Wallace has thrown for better than 2,000 yards and 18 touchdowns. The solid offense for the Rebels has certainly been backed up by the ball-swarming defense in their 7-1 start and the defense will have to show up big in this one as well.

The Rebels defense is going to have a tough time stopping dual-threat quarterback Nick Marshall. The QB with wheels gives Auburn a very good chance at moving the football down the field and they have averaged better than 39 points per game this season.

Auburn is very good at running the football, piling up 281 yards per game on the ground. Cameron Artis-Payne totes the ball for 5.5 yards per carry and gives this Auburn team a solid top option knowing they will line up and go right at it with Ole Miss.

Playing at home will be critical for the Rebels. They'll have to play better against the run than they did last week (gave up 264 on ground to LSU), but expect a very talented Ole Miss defense to play well in this one.
