College football week 14 and the Arizona State Sun Devils will travel to Arizona Stadium to take on the Arizona Wildcats. The game has a start time of 3:30 pm (Eastern) and will be televised on the SEC Network. Current Vegas odds have the Sun Devils listed as 1.5 point favorites, while the total is set at 62.  

Analysis:  The Arizona State Sun Devils shook off their shocking loss to Oregon State 2 weeks ago with a nice 52-31 home win over Washington State last week. The Sun Devils are now 9-2 on the year and in a first place tie with Arizona and UCLA in the PAC-12 South. ASU is 7-2 ATS in their last 9 meetings in Arizona, while the road team is 13-6 ATS in their last 19 meetings, but ASU is also 15-33-3 ATS in their last 51 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. The Sun Devils are a very good offensive team, ranking 33rd in total yards, 29th in passing, 59th in rushing and 18th in scoring (37.2 ppg). The defense has not been all that good for this team, as they rank 86th in yards allowed, 110th vs the pass, 62nd vs the run and 65th in points allowed (26.4 ppg).

Arizona also comes in with a 9-2 record on the year and are part of the three-way tie atop the Pac-12 South. Arizona is off an impressive 42-10 rout on the road vs Utah and have now won 3 in a row, while going a solid 5-1 at home for the year. Arizona is 7-1 ATS in their last 8 Friday games, but just 7-20 ATS in their last 27 games in November and 2-9 ATS in their last 11 games following a S.U. win. The Cats have been a very good offensive team this year, ranking 14th in total yards, 15th in passing, 42nd in rushing and 22nd in scoring (36.2 ppg). The defense for Arizona has been rather average, ranking 97th in yards allowed, 116th vs the pass, 67th vs the run and 54th in points allowed (24.6 ppg).     

Pick: I will be going with the Wildcats in this one.. The Sun Devils did rout Washington State last week, b they were also outgained by 292 yards in the game, after being outgained by 131 yards in their previous game, which was vs Oregon State. This is not a team that is playing all that well right now and must now take on an Arizona team that is hot right now, having won 3 in a row, including last weeks 32 point destruction of a very good Utah team on the road. Also on the resume of this Arizona squad is a hard fought 17-7 loss at UCLA, a 2 point home loss to USC and a 7 point road win vs Oregon. This team can play with the big boys and they will so here as well, by winning the game by at least a TD.
