Mountain West rivals Air Force and UNLV will square off at Sam Boyd Stadium this weekend in what represents the first conference tilt of the season for both teams (10:00pm ET start time). Air Force, which saw its record even at 1-1 on September 8th with a 31-25 loss at Michigan, has won nine of the last 10 in this series and six of the last eight at Sam Boyd Stadium.
UNLV has been far more competitive against the Falcons as a host, though. The Rebels are 3-0 against the spread in their last three meetings with Air Force in Vegas, losing those games by an average of 6.3 points per contest while the line averaged 11 points (+19, +3.5, +10).
Air Force has also struggled to cover the number as a road favorite of eight to 10.5 points, going 1-6 against the spread in that situation since 1996.
