West Virginia needs to find a way to regain its footing as the season comes to a close. The Mountaineers have dropped four of the last six games overall and fallen from second in the rankings to the bottom. They’re also two games behind Texas Tech in the Big 12 standings with just a handful of contests left.
TCU has looked promising at times this year, but they’re in danger of missing the tournament at just 5-7 in conference play. The Frogs just beat up on Texas, claiming a 16-point victory over the Longhorns on Saturday night. TCU shot the ball well (54 percent) and had just six turnovers in the game, both keys to success.
Bad news for Frog fans though. TCU hasn’t won a game over a ranked opponent on the road since the 1997-98 season.
