Baylor and South Carolina should make for an interesting game tonight. The Bears want to get as many touches in the paint as they can. Getting good looks on the interior and having success in the post are both imperative for the Bears tonight if they are going to win.

South Carolina will be playing solid perimeter defense and the Gamecocks will be forcing Baylor to put the ball on the floor and beat them off the dribble. South Carolina ranks fourth nationally in adjusted defensive efficiency numbers, they have played well for Frank Martin on that side of the ball.

But South Carolina has also exploded to be strong offensively, scoring 93 against Marquette and 88 against Duke. They weren’t a team that put up a lot of points during the regular season (73.1), but are really playing well now.

Sindarius Thornwell for South Carolina and Johnathan Motley are going to be important for their teams. Obviously they are their respective teams best players, but they will be even more important tonight.
