College Basketball Odds
Total: 141.5 points
Oklahoma and Texas are a combined 15-22 this season. They have just three Big 12 wins combined as well, so tonight’s game could be one of those entertaining ones between a couple of inconsistent teams where a lot of points are scored.
The Longhorns actually are a decent defensive team, ranking 24th in the country in adjusted defensive efficiency numbers. Their problem has been on the offensive end of the floor, where the Longhorns average just over 69 points per game.
Oklahoma does not have good numbers to date, but getting Jordan Woodard back to 100 percent is going to be important. Woodard is the best player for the Sooners and when he is playing well, they can be a decent team.
Both teams are coming off a loss — Oklahoma dropped a double overtime game to Iowa State while Texas was beat up by Kansas.
It’s interesting to note that Texas has dropped five straight games and seven of the last eight overall. They’re still favored here over the Sooners, they have dropped eight of the last 10 games.
Woodard should be the best player on the floor tonight.
