The Connecticut Huskies are on the road tonight in college basketball action, taking on the Memphis Tigers. The game is scheduled for a 9:00 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on ESPN2. Currently the betting odds for the game have the Huskies favored to pick up the win on the road.

Connecticut still has a chance to finish in the top few spots in the conference, the Huskies are currently tied with Cincinnati, Tulsa and Temple with three losses. SMU obviously still leads the conference, but the Huskies still play them twice as the season winds down.

Connecticut has been a solid team all season, they don’t have any horrible losses on the schedule, they also have some strong wins for the resume as well.

Memphis has eight losses on the year, two of which came at home to UT-Arlington and East Carolina, which were sub-100 defeats. The Tigers still do not have a Top 50 RPI win, they will only have one more chance it looks like to get one of those when they play SMU for the second and final time this season at the end of the month.

UConn has won four of five coming into this one, Memphis has been inconsistent since the beginning of the year, going just 4-5 since the turn of the calendar.

Connecticut is playing well right now, they are the better overall team and can play well on the road, where they are 4-1 this season.
