Analysis:  The Syracuse Orange really have nothing to play for this year after the put self-imposed bans on themselves, which will keep them from any post-season play this year, including the ACC tournament. Its starting to show with this team as they have won just 1 of their last 4 games to fall to 6-4 in the ACC. The Orange have gone just 8-20-2 ATS in their last 30 games overall and 4-16-2 ATS in their last 22 vs. the ACC. The Orange have been a decent offensive squad this year, ranking 126th in scoring (69.6 ppg), 155th in shooting (43.9%), 291st in 3 point shooting (31.1%) and 302nd in FT shooting (65.0%). The defense for this team has been solid as they come in ranked 91st in points allowed (62.7 ppg), 43rd in defensive FG% (39.2%) and 50th in 3 point defense (31.0%).  

The Boston College Eagles have struggled of late as they come in having lost their last 4 games in a row to fall to just 1-9 in ACC play. Overall the Eagles have gone just 9-13 on the year, including a 7-5 record at home. Boston College has gone 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games following a ATS loss and 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600.The Eagles have been a poor offensive team this year, ranking 253rd in scoring (64.3 ppg), 197th in shooting (43.3%), 286th in 3 point shooting (31.2%) and 184th in FT shooting (68.8%). Pick: Going with the Under here. The Cuse are not a great shooting or scoring team, but they do play very good defense and both teams play at a rather slow pace. The Orange have played in some higher scoring games that normal for them of late, but that is not their game and I feel vs the Eagles they will get back to their normal style of play. This has been a low scoring series as the last 5 games between these teams have averaged just 123.2 ppg, with the most points being scored the 130 points that the teams put up earlier this year. The Eagles have allowed just 63.3 ppg at home, while the Cuse have allowed just 62.7 ppg overall. Mid-120s here.
