The defense for this team has been excellent, ranking 4th in points allowed (53.5 ppg), 14th in defensive FG% (36.6%) and 11th in 3 point defense (27.3%). 

The the Wyoming Cowboys have had a very nice start to their year as they come in at 15-2, which includes wins in each of their last 7 games. Wyoming is 12-0 at home so far and 4-0 within the MWC.  Wyoming is 10-3-1 ATS in their last 14 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600 and 10-4-1 ATS in their last 15 games following a ATS win, but just 2-5 ATS in their last 7 home games vs. a team with a losing road record. The Cowboys have not been a very good offensive team this year, ranking 269th in scoring (64.1 ppg), 6th in shooting (50.4%), 204th in 3 point shooting (33.1%) and 78th in FT shooting (71.8%). Defensively the Cowboys have been excellent, ranking 3rd in points allowed (52.2 ppg), 78th in defensive FG% (39.8%) and 213th in 3 point defense (34.4%).  

Pick: This one has all the makings of a game that will be payed in the 40s as both teams play at a very slow pace, while both teams have scoring defenses that are ranked in the top 4 in the nation. The Aztecs come in allowing just 53.5 ppg overall, while in their last 5 games they have allowed a mere 48 ppg. Wyoming comes in allowing just 52.2 ppg on the year, while at home they have given up just 53.1 ppg. The Aztecs have scored just 51 ppg on the road so far and While Wyoming has put up 67.9 ppg at home they have yet to play a defense anywhere near the Caliber of the Aztecs on this floor. some trends do favor the Over here, but wit the pace this game will be played at and the defense that will be on the floor I just can see this game putting up more than 100 points.
