Analysis: The Gonzaga Bulldogs come in at 12-1 on the year, with their lone loss coming in OT at Arizona. Since that loss the Bulldogs have won 5 in a row, including a 7 point win at BYU Saturday night. The Bulldogs are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 vs. West Coast and 9-3-1 ATS in their last 13 games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record, but just 1-5 ATS in the last 6 meetings in the series. The Zags have been a very good offensive team this year, ranking 11th in scoring (83.9 ppg), 2nd in shooting (53.3%), 22nd in 3 point shooting (40.0%) and 65th in FT shooting (72.6%). The defense for the Zags has been solid as they come in ranked 83rd in points allowed (61.5 ppg), 57th in defensive FG% (38.7%) and 100th in 3 point defense (31.0%).  

The San Diego Toreros come in off a tough home loss to Portland in their last game. The loss dropped them to 7-6 on the year, which includes a 4-1 mark at home. San Diego is 6-0 ATS in their last 6 games following a S.U. loss and the Dog is 5-1 ATS the last 6 in the series, but the Toreros are also 0-4 ATS in their last 4 vs the WCC. San Diego has been an average offensive squad, ranking 138th in scoring (70.2 ppg), 87th in shooting (45.7%), 61st in 3 point shooting (37.9%) and 189th in FT shooting (68.2%). The defense for the Toreros has been average as well, ranking 150th in points allowed (64.8 ppg), 192nd in defensive FG% (42.8%) and 235th in 3 point defense (34.9%).    

Pick: The Zags are off a huge game vs BYU and San Diego has played this team tough in recent year and that has me looking at the Toreros, who are a solid 4-1 at home this year and are off a bad home loss to Portland. Bad situational spot for the Zags and while I expect them to win, it will not be by much.
