Analysis:  The Arizona Wildcats bounced back from a tough road loss to Arizona State by beating Washington on Friday night by a score of 86-62.  The win now has the Cats tied atop the Pac-12 with Utah at 9-2, while overall the team has gone 21-3 on the year. The Cats have gone 6-1 ATS in their last 7 vs. the Pac-12 and 7-0 ATS in the last 7 meetings in the series. Arizona has been very a good offensive team this year, ranking 26th in scoring (75.5 ppg), 8th in shooting (49.3%), 100th in 3 point shooting (36.0%) and 174th in FT shooting (69.2%). Defensively the Wildcats have been very good, ranking 21st in points allowed (59.3 ppg), 64th in defensive FG% (40.0%) and 124th in 3 point defense (32.9%).   

The Washington State Cougars have really struggled of late as they have lost 6 of their last 8, but they do come in off a big home win over Arizona State on Friday night. The Cougars are now at 11-13 overall and 5-7 in the Pac-12. Wazzou has gone 5-1-1 ATS in their last 7 games following a S.U. win and 9-4-1 ATS in their last 14 games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record. The Cougars have been a decent offensive team this year, ranking 96th in scoring (70.6 ppg), 214th in shooting (42.9%), 226th in 3 point shooting (33.0%) and 78th in FT shooting (71.6%). The defense for this team has been very poor as they come in ranked, 345th in points allowed (75.8 ppg), 322nd in defensive FG% (46.4%) and 317th in 3 point defense (37.8%).

Pick: Let's take a shot with the Over here. The Cougars are an uptempo to team that plays little defense and what Arizona is not a full uptempo team team they will run at times and I feel this is a good spot for that to happen. The Cats have averaged 81.5 ppg in their last 4 Pac-12 road games and have averaged 78.4 ppg in all Pac-12 games vs teams not named Oregon State. This team can score and they feed off their defense to get easy baskets especially vs sloppy teams like Washington State. Arizona does allow just 59.3 ppg overall, but have given up 65.1 ppg on the road and Washington State comes in averaging a healthy 79.6 ppg on their home floor. 85-69 sounds about right for this one.
