Friday night college basketball and we will see the Arizona State Sun Devils travel to Beasley Coliseum to take on the Washington State Cougars. The game has a start time of 11:00 pm (Eastern) and will be televised on the Pac-12 Network. Analysis:  The Arizona State Sun Devils have struggled in Pac-12 play this year, but they do come into this game off their biggest win of the year, which was an 81-78 decision over Arizona on Saturday. ASU is still just 12-11 overall and 4-6 in the Pac-12. ASU has gone 5-1 ATS in the last 6 meetings, but just 4-10-1 ATS in their last 15 road games and 4-9-1 ATS in their last 14 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. The Sun Devils have been a decent offensive team this year, ranking 108th in scoring (70.2 ppg), 80th in shooting (45.5%), 57th in 3 point shooting (37.4%) and 246th in FT shooting (67.0%). The defense for this team has been average as they come in ranked, 133rd in points allowed (64.8 ppg), 228th in defensive FG% (43.8%) and 252 in 3 point defense (35.6%). 

The Washington State Cougars have really struggled of late as they have lost 2 on a row and 6 of their last 7. The slump now has them at 10-13 overall and 4-7 in the Pac-12. Washington State has gone 5-2 ATS in their last 7 home games and the home team is 14-3 ATS the last 17 meeting, but the Cougars are also 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games following a SU loss of more than 20 points. The Cougars have been a decent offensive team this year, ranking 101st in scoring (70.5 ppg), 229th in shooting (42.5%), 225th in 3 point shooting (33.1%) and 67th in FT shooting (72.0%). The defense for this team has been very poor as they come in ranked, 345th in points allowed (76.0 ppg), 325th in defensive FG% (46.4%) and 330th in 3 point defense (38.5%).

Pick: I know that Washington State home games have been high scoring this year, but I just don't see it in this one. Arizona is coming off a perfect game offensively in which they put up 81 on Arizona. The Sun Devils won that game so I expect a letdown from them here and that should show up on the offensive end of the floor where they have averaged just 63.2 ppg on the road anyway. The Cougars have averaged 80.6 ppg at home, but they have struggled offensively overall of late, averaging just 63.9 ppg in their last 7 games overall, while Arizona State has allowed just 67.1 ppg on the road and 66.8 in their last 5 overall. Just hard to see this game being played near 150 points.
