The Cincinnati Bearcats will meet in-state rival Miami, OH this weekend as the two squads square off at Yager Stadium on Saturday. The game between the Bearcats and Redhawks is scheduled to get underway at 4:00pm ET; it will be broadcast live on ESPN3. NCAA College Football Odds are favoring the visiting Bearcats at -23 against the spread and -2000 on the money line ($2000 wins $100). The Over/Under in Saturday's meeting between Cincinnati and Miami, OH is set at 55.5 points.

Cincinnati opened its season and the Tommy Tuberville era with a bang, crushing the Purdue Boilermakers 42-7 at Nippert Stadium, but another Big Ten school, Illinois, quickly ended the Bearcats high.

The Fighting Illini, playing as an eight point home underdog, slapped a 45-17 loss on Cincy, despite a solid offensive day from Tuberville's troops. The Bearcats posted 24 first downs and 456 total yards, but their defense was helpless to stop Illinois, yielding 522 yards as well as 8.4 yards per pass and 5.4 yards per carry.

Cincinnati flushed that memory last weekend, cruising to a 66-9 win over an FCS opponent in Northwestern State. The Bearcats are hoping for another route this weekend with Miami, OH on tap.

The Redhawks certainly look like a potential woodshed victim as they have already been drubbed by Marshall and Kentucky, losing to the Thundering Herd and Wildcats by an average of 36 points per game.

Saturday does mark Miami's home opener, though, and it had an extra week to prepare for the Bearcats; however, location has mattered little in this rivalry series. Cincinnati has won the last seven games between the two schools and it covered the number in six of those games by outpacing the Redhawks by an average of 29.5 points per game.
