The Buffalo Bills will look to snap out of their recent funk when they visit the 4-9 Jacksonville Jaguars later today. Start time in this afternoon's meeting between the two squads at EverBank Field is set for 1:00pm ET (CBS). The latest NFL Odds from Sportsbook.ag are favoring the Bills at -2.5 against the spread. The Over/Under in today's game is set at 43 points.

The Bills looked as though they might be a viable presence in the AFC East this year after opening the season with wins over the Panthers and Ravens and competitive losses to the Patriots and Jets, but that has not come to pass.

In true Buffalo fashion, the team has tanked, and in a big way. The Bills have lost seven of their last nine games and they enter this week's meeting with the Jaguars on a 1-5 run.

Buffalo has experienced a particularly difficult time away from Ralph Wilson Stadium, posting a 1-5 record as a visitor. The Bills have not only lost the majority of their road games, they dropped most of them in ugly fashion.

The only road loss in which Buffalo stayed within 10 points of its host was a 20-27 setback to the Jets at MetLife Stadium. The Bills other four away losses came by an average of 16.3 points per game.

While Buffalo's season took a turn for the worse, Jacksonville found reason for hope. Heading into their week nine bye, the Jaguars had yet to win a game and, frankly, they looked incapable of beating anyone.

However, since their respite, the Jags have been on fire, producing a 4-1 record with two wins over the Texans as well as road upsets of the Titans and Browns.

Granted, Jacksonville's recent success has come against some struggling teams, but those same clubs had, no doubt, anticipated wins when they saw the Jags on the schedule. Buffalo may be doing the same thing, which might play right into the hands of a suddenly confident Jacksonville squad.
