The Buffalo Bills have not won more than nine games since 1999, but the past few years were particularly rough with the team amassing 16 wins during Chan Gailey’s short tenure. Given the poor results, the Bills, which ranked 21st in points and 26th in points per game allowed last season, decided to dismiss Gailey and replace him with former Syracuse head coach Doug Marrone. While the move was probably needed, the odds makers at 5Dimes are not expecting it to pay big dividends this season. The offshore bookmaker’s latest 2014 Super Bowl Odds have the Bills lined at +18500 to win the Lombardi Trophy. Buffalo is considered a long shot to win the AFC East as well, drawing +1300 odds to secure its first division title since 1995. The Bills regular season win total is set at 6.5 games; the Under is favored at -145.
Vegas based Cantor Gaming is also expecting another dismal campaign from the Bills. Cantor released NFL game lines for weeks one through 16 in early May and it has Buffalo favored in just three games (Chiefs, Jets, and at Jaguars).
