Brooklyn Nets vs Toronto Raptors Game 7 NBA Playoffs Start Time, Odds, Free Pick

The first round of the NBA Playoffs continues on Sunday Afternoon and we will see the Brooklyn Nets travel to the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario to take on the Toronton Raptors in game 7 of their best-of-seven series. The game has a start time of 1:00 pm (Eastern) and will be televised on ABC. Vegas odds have the Raptors listed as 3 point favorites, while the total sits at 188.

Stat Packs: The Brooklyn Nets were the sexy pick by many to take this series from the Raptors and  they still have a very good shot to do so as the series heads back to Toronto, tied at 3 games apiece. It won't be easy for them as they have gone just 16-27 away from home on the year  The Nets averaged just 98.5 ppg during the regular, and it has been slightly worse in the playoffs, where they have put up just 96.7 ppg so far. In the Playoffs, Joe Johnson has led the team in scoring with 20.8 ppg, while Deron Williams (17.8 ppg) and Paul Pierce (14.0 ppg) round out the double digit scorers on the team. On the defensive end of the floor the Nets have been solid this year, as they allowed 99.4 ppg during the regular season, and have been decent in the playoffs as well, allowing just 95 ppg to the Raptors thus far.

The Toronto Raptors came in as the 3rd seed in the East after a very solid regular season, but so far it has been a struggle for them and are now in a do or die game 7 with the Nets. Luckily this is on their home floor where they have gone 28-16 on the year. During the regular season, Toronto ranked 13th in scoring (101.3 ppg) and in shooting 22nd in shooting (44.5%), but so far vs the Nets they have scored just 95 ppg on 43.5% shooting. In the playoffs it has been DeMar DeRozan that has led the team in scoring at 24.8 ppg, while Kyle Lowry (20.0 ppg), Jonas Valanciunas (12.2 ppg) and Greivis Vasquez (11.5 pg) round out the double digit scorers for the team. Jonas leads the team in rebounding at 10.5 rpg. The Raptors ranked 7th in the league in points allowed this year (98 ppg) and have been solid vs the Nets so far, allowing them just 96.7 ppg.

Pick:  Going with the Under in this one. This  is a game 7 that I expect to play out like it's supposed to. Plenty of defense and a slow pace. This has been a low scoring series as it is and Game 7s are usually lower scoring than the other games in a series. Both teams can play solid defense and will have to, if they hope to move on. I see this game in the low 180's at best.
