Bowling Green was coming off two straight losing seasons heading into its 2012 campaign, creating some concern as to whether or not Head Coach Dave Clawson was the man for the job. Bowling Green's schedule is highly conducive to a division title as all of its most difficult conference opponents, with the exception of Buffalo, visit Perry Field. The Falcons host both Toledo and Ohio and their conference road outings, outside the aforementioned Bulls, include trips to Kent State, Miami, OH, and Eastern Michigan. Bowling Green will, in all probability, be favored in each of those games.
