The Nebraska Cornhuskers will be playing the Penn State Nittany Lions on Wednesday in the opening round of the Big Ten Tournament. Nebraska is coming off an embarrassing home loss in the finale to Michigan. In that game the Cornhuskers got behind early and never really had a chance to get back in it as the Wolverines were knocking down shots and got up so much they just cruised to the victory.

Penn State has not had a good season, as evident with the Nittany Lions playing in this early contest of the tournament. The winner here will advance to take on fifth-seeded Michigan State.

Nebraska won the only meeting between these two teams in mid-February, 82-66. That game was played in Lincoln. Following that loss the Nittany Lions went on to lost four straight additional games.

Penn State has dropped five in a row, but they’re favored here. Nebraska has dropped four straight. That’s a lot of losses.
