The Iowa Hawkeyes are taking on the Indiana Hoosiers in the second round of the Big Ten Tournament on Thursday evening. The game is scheduled for a 6:30 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on ESPN2. The college basketball odds for the game have the Hoosiers favored to pick up the win.
College Basketball Odds
Indiana has had a forgettable season to date. The Hoosiers are 17-14 on the campaign and will miss the NCAA Tournament and head coach Tom Crean is going to be catching some heat in the off season for sure. But with injuries and inconsistent play all year, the Hoosiers never really got into a groove and have looked poor.
Iowa is also in a tough spot, though they have a First Team All-Conference player in Peter Jok. He’s a 20-point per game scorer and has led the Hawkeyes to 18 wins, but their 13 losses to date is a bit of a concern. The Hawkeyes have been talked about as a potential NCAA Tournament team, but they absolutely have to win this game and probably beat Wisconsin as well.
Indiana is a mess but they did score a ton of points in a 96-92 win over Ohio State. They own a win over Northwestern recently as well, but the Hoosiers have stumbled to six losses the last eight games.
