The Kansas Jayhawks and TCU Horned Frogs meet up today in the Big 12 Tournament. The game is scheduled for a 2:30 p.m. start time and it will be televised nationally on ESPN2. Currently the College Basketball Betting Odds for the game have the Jayhawks favored to pick up the win.

Kansas won another Big 12 regular season title this year, but the road to the NCAA Tournament is once again going to be a bumpy one for the Jayhawks. Kansas probably won’t have freshman Cliff Alexander the rest of the year because of an investigation and their best player, Perry Ellis, has been banged up. While Ellis could come back to play today, Kansas probably can still beat TCU without him.

The Horned Frogs won just four games in conference this season and lost twice to Kansas. Kyan Anderson has them playing with a different mindset now, though, as the Frogs beat Kansas State in the opening round of the tournament yesterday by a single bucket. Both Anderson and Chris Washburn scored 16 points in the win and TCU shot the ball at better than 47 percent for the game. That’s going to be a major factor in today’s game as the Horned Frogs struggled to shoot well in either of their first two losses to the Jayhawks.

Kansas owns five wins over TCU in the six games they’ve played and today should be another victory in the column. Kansas, even without some of their better players, is still the best team taking the floor today. It would take a huge effort from Anderson to have TCU in a potential upset spot here.
